Hay Guys and Girls, I understand what you are talking about in the payout and rules department. If you remember earley this year there was a thought of reducing/ combinding some classes. Why do we need three poney/buzz classes, or three stock body Hobby/ pure/hogg classes ? If these classes were combined there would be a field of10 or more cars and a much better payout. My suggestion was, Crate Lates/400 hp sportsman, Thundercar, street stock, and pony/buzz combined. Cars should go through tec before they are allowed to run. If minor rule vilations, could be handled by adding weight to the cars, Major deveations would result in moving the car up a class. If a car/driver dominates several races the track should/could add weight or change thier tire size to make them more in line. Your opinions on this are welcome to me. Mr Rat

Yes I'm sure he does but like I said earlier there is a time and place and don't bash the track here call or go see the man in person. There is no need for all the mess being said on here. I know who several of the people are and not one of you have gone to James or Ethleen and said a thing to them about what yall think. In the drivers meeting no one says a thing about it so if not then why do it now on a computer. Yes a forum is for talking about the events and those sorts of things but it is in no way designed for people to bash a track. So don't do it on here call them or go see them or say something when you are at the track not after the event is over and you get back home. And Mr Rat you and I have both discussed that and it is a great idea and it would help with alot but these people bashing the track on here is not needed. If you have a problem you go talk to the man so why can't everyone else. CODY BROWNING

The only problem with your plan Mr. Revis is the tech man part. There is not a tech man at this point(I was not there sat. night) and the tech men in the past just seem to be there for show.If there is a problem or issue they still go to James. The tech man should have final say... legal or illegal.I have no problem talking to James , Cody but I do believe that if a driver approaches him alone they will be on the sh!t list.I can live with racing there as is even i I do not agree with the way it is run, I just think this could be an awesome venue to race at! The track itself is great!! The way its run is pretty unprofessional.I'm REALLY not trying to bash the track I just hate when someone asks where I race and I say "shelby co. speedway" they say oohhh with a groan and a look of disgust , I want to be proud of where I run and how they conduct themselves.

Shain you have some very valid points and I'm not saying you have to do it alone. If all the people on here complaining would get together and go talk to them or get together and bring it up in the drivers meeting it would work but talking on here is not going to get people anywhere. If everyone would stick together and quit grippin and complaining and bring things up as a group to the powers that be at the speedway you may just see a change, hey and change is good so lets make a change on here and stop talking bad about the track and talk to them in person as a group and race and have fun. hotmomma51, first of all, the only thing i know dealing with the drivers fund money is the 50/50, all the other money that is brought into the track is dealing with Ethelene and James, so if you have personal questions about the rest of the money you need to go to them, this is a business and there is also bills that have to be paid there and some of them are quite expensive. I do know where the 50/50 money goes to and how much there is every week and at the end of the year!!!! As far as calling a meeting and getting everyone together to talk and ask questions and give suggestions I will be happy to ask if we can do it at a drivers meeting but the thing is whoever wants to do it and say they will do it needs to be able to show up and not back out at the last minute. Like Cody said sitting behind this computer complaining about the track is not getting anything accomplished!!!!!!! Ya'll need to go to the RIGHT PEOPLE, and be civil about it.

Guys this is a good start right here. They have now posted a pay scale so with this being done we need to get together and talk to them about scales and a good tech man. When I say good tech man one who does not race himself and is not planning to race himself and that can do a good job for us and keep us all on a level playing field. Anyone with ideas on who or anyone who wants to get together and talk to them about these matters don't talk bad on here call me or email me or pm me and I will go with any of you and we can see about getting some more things done. Go to the website to see the payscale. www.shelbycountyspeedway.netCODY BROWNING 205-337-8695 phatboysgraphics@yahoo.com
