Columbus Speedway & Magnolia Motor Speedway Doubleheader This Weekend!
Columbus, MS-Racing action heats up in the Golden Triangle as Columbus Speedway and Magnolia Motor Speedway will have a doubleheader of dirt track racing action this weekend. The highlight of the evening at each track in addition to the Rebel Challenge Super Late Models will be the main events for the Open Wheel Modified Championship Series.
The annual Modified 4 Crown Championship Series will make its way into Columbus Speedway to headline the night’s event as part of the action on Saturday night May 26th when the Columbus Speedway Summer weekly racing season gets underway. All divisions will be in action as part of the big weekend including Rebel Challenge Weekly Racing Series Super Late Models, Stormpay Late Models, Street Stocks, Late Model Stocks, and Mini Stocks.
The racers then move across the river to the Magnolia Motor Speedway for a big night of action on Sunday night for round 3 of the 4 Crown Series on Sunday night May 27th. All other divisions will be in action including Rebel Challenge Weekly Racing Series Super Late Models, Stormpay Late Models, Street Stocks, and Late Model Stocks. The O’Reilly Mini Sprints will be an added attraction at MMS for the Sunday night special.
The Modified 4 Crown Series will begin on Friday night May 25th at Moulton Speedway, then move to Columbus Speedway, across the river to Magnolia Motor Speedway for a Sunday night special May 27th, and conclude for a Monday night special at North Alabama Speedway on Monday night May 28th. The defending series champion is Alabama’s Chad Winkles.
