Schedule Change. No Racing This Saturday Night.
Racing Action Continues June 24th
Columbus, MS – Columbus Speedway promoter Johnny Stokes has made a schedule change and will now have an off week this Saturday night June 10th at Columbus Speedway. The off week will give the local racing economy a week to recoup from both a fan and competitor aspect as the upcoming weekend falls between special events at the two local racing facilities. During the off week it is also scheduled to have new light poles placed in the infield this week with preparations underway for the Lucas Oil Late Model Series televised event on July 15th. The next area special event is the Governor’s Cup coming up at Magnolia Motor Speedway on June 17th.
Racing action will continue at Columbus Speedway on Saturday night June 24th featuring the Columbus Speedway Weekly Racing Series including Super Late Models plus the 20-lap Mini Stock Summer Championship. The next event in Columbus, Mississippi will be the Coca Cola GovernorR17;s Cup at Magnolia Motor Speedway on June 17th featuring Super Late Models going 60 laps for $5,000 to win.
