Etheridge Race Parts Modified Four Crown
4 Events - $1,000-to-win Each Night!
Columbus, MS - Preparations are well underway for this year's Open Wheel Modified Four Crown Championship Series. The event spans four consecutive nights at four venues in Alabama and Mississippi with each 20-lap feature event paying $1,000 to the winner.
The series kicks off on Friday night, May 26 at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL, then moves to Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS for its only stop in the Magnolia State on Saturday night, May 27th. Sunday, May 28th will see Modified action at Moulton Speedway in Moulton, AL, with the Grand Finale coming Monday, May 29th at River Valley Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL.
Etheridge Race Parts of Northport, AL is the series sponsor for 2006. New Legacy Pontiac/GMC of Eutaw, Al. adds a $100 fast time bonus each night, and a projected/targeted $1,500 points fund will be paid out to the top five in points at the end of all four events (based on all four races completed). Also, only the three best finishes will be counted, allowing drivers to either throw out thier worst finish or even skip an event if necessary.
Other sponsors are also welcome, with any additional sponsorship monies added to the points fund. Prospective sponsors are welcome to send an email to jc327@cableone.net for more information.
Single-lap pole qualifying will determine the top 12 starters, with the polesitter drawing for an inversion of 0, 4. or 6. 8-lap B-Mains will be used to complete the 24-car field for each night of racing.
