Racer & Fan Friendly Format On Tap For SRRS At Green Valley This Weekend
Glencoe, Alabama (04/12/10) – This weekend, April 16th-17th, Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama will host another big race weekend as the Southern Regional Racing Series Super Late Models thunder into town for a pair of huge shows.
Coming on the heels of the 2nd Annual Crate Nationals, which saw two and three wide racing around the high-banks of “The Jungle”, the Southern Regional Racing Series Super Late Models are eagerly preparing for two big nights of racing at Green Valley Speedway, which will see a complete show run on Friday night and Saturday night. In addition, special two night, discount tickets are available for the grandstands and the pits.
On Friday, April 16th, the program will be headlined by a $2,000 to win/$250 to start event, 30 lap Super Late Model event around the lightning fast oval. Also in action will be the Limited Late Models, Super Street, Hobby, Stampedes, and Cruisers.
On Saturday, April 17th a brand new program will be on tap with the SRRS Super Late Models waging war for $3,000 to win/$300 to start in a 40 lap free for all! Also in action will be Crate Late Models, Super Street, Hobby, and Stampedes.
Race fans also please note that Green Valley Speedway will offer the ride of a lifetime after the race’s each night, as race fans can purchase rides in the track’s Two-Seater Super Late Model for $5 a lap with a 3 lap minimum.
Both nights grandstand gates open at 5pm with the driver’s meeting at 7pm and racing action slated for 7:30pm.
On Friday night, April 16th grandstand admission for adults (17 years of age and older) is $15, ages 16 years to 5 years are $10, and 4 years of age and under are free. Pit admission is $30 for ages 17 years and older. Pit admission for ages 5 years to 16 years is $15. Ages 4 and under are free.
On Saturday night, April 17th grandstand admission for adults (17 years of age and older) is $20, ages 16 years to 5 years are $10, and 4 years of age and under are free. Pit admission is $35. Pit admission for ages 5 years to 16 years is $20. Ages 4 and under are free.
Special packages for grandstand admission and pit admission are being offered for this big event, where you can save up to $10 by purchasing a two day ticket. Two day grandstand tickets for adults (17 years of age and older) are $25. Two day grandstand tickets for ages 16 years to 5 years are $15. Two day pit passes are $60 for ages 17 and above, while ages 5 to 16 years can purchase two day pit passes for $25
