Gate prices

Wren do you have an idea of gate prices for stands yet ? If the decision is made to "pay more / win more" will that affect the stands or just cars going in ? Also if a spectator wanted to be in the pits on a particular nite w/o a car would it be extra for that person too ?

THE EXTRA MONEY IS BASICALLY A ENTRY FEE FOR DRIVERS ONLY, IT WILL NOT EFFECT THE REGULAR PITS AND STANDS ENTRANCE. THE POLL IS A OPPORTUNITY FOR DRIVESRS TO UP THERE PURSE WITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF CARS IN A RACE. LRS WILL ONLY HOLD A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF RACECARS I'M THINKING ALONG THE LINES OF 80 TO 100 PACKED OUT WHEN THE PIT PARKING IS LARGER FOR NEXT YEAR. THE STAND ENTRANCE WILL BE $10 EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT EXCEPT THE LAST RACE OF THE MONTH, WHICH WILL BE $5.00 FOR FAN APPRECIATION.
PIT PRICES WILL BE $25.00 AS ALWAYS, WITH A OCCASIONAL SPECIAL EVENT.
KIDS UNDER 12 ALWAYS FREE.
LRS GROWED EXCEPTIONAL IN ONLY 8 RACES, WE ALSO APPRECIATE ALL THE KIND WORDS THAT EVERYBODY BEEN SAYING IN SUPPORTING US NEXT YEAR. HOPEFULLY LRS WILL BE ABLE TO DO EVERYTHING WE SAY WE'RE GOING TO DO, BUT SUPPORT FROM RACERS IS WHAT TURNS THE LIGHTS ON EVERY WEEKEND.

Wren I know your tring to build up the track and get business to the track but other tracks hold a pay out regardless of car turn out and an entry fee same regardless except special events. If you add more to entry you need to pay out past 4th place. I think if you changr that then people will go to other tracks. Your asking to much for what your giving back.

IF you will go to littleriverspeedway .com and look under purse and it does show if a driver pays more it does pay back more than 4th place.

why,why why does everybody knock the promotor on here, we visited 3 times last year and was treated with respect like no other track, got paid even when we finished last and one night we didnt even finish and got paid 25 . the guy thats running it is really smart with the race cars also he helped us and a limited car next to us that said he was a genius with his help. where else at any race track can you get help like that . anywhere i can race and get help with setups and be faster when i go to another track is great. ive talked to him alot here in the last couple of weeks and his ideas and plans on how to make this place grow could be bad for other tracks, not to mention all the stuff with the tires,fuel and other parts cheaper than any i have heard, if you think hes out to make money call him, youll change your mind in a blink. i do belive hes looking ahead in the future to little money but right now i assure you hes looking at his fans and racers side first. i also heard that other tracks we re watching him and what hes doing to learn how he made a dump back to where it is now. hope they dont get him i look forward to racing at little river, not the old family screw u hollis

I'm not knocking him I am saying that he changes the rules every week and now wants to change the drivers entry fee when he only pay's out to 5th place and how did you get paid for last place never as long as I have race there have i seen last place get paid.

OK SETTLE DOWN GUYS LET ME EXPLAIN HOW AND WHY I DO WHAT I DO.
WHEN I TOOK OVER LAST YEAR I DID THE RULES IN LESS THAN 3 DAYS WITH NO EXPERIENCE FOR THE PROMOTOR SIDE OF RACING ALSO I DIDNT UNDERSTAND ALOT OF RULES OTHER TRACKS HAD. THE REASON I DIDNT KNOW WHY OTHER TRACKS HAD SOME RULES WAS BECAUSE I HADNT EVER LOOK FROM THE OUTSIDE IN. I REDESIGNED THE RULES THIS TIME BECAUSE:
1. I HAD ALOT OF HELP FROM VERY EXPERIENCED PEOPLE ON HOW TO MAKE IT AFFORDABLE BUT STILL GOOD EVEN RACING.
2. IF THE RULES WE RE OPEN, NOBODY COULD AFFORD TO COME AND RACE WITH SOME GUYS BUYING NEW TIRES EVERY RACE.
3. LRS DESIGNED RULES ALSO WHERE THE LESS EXPERIENCED RACERS COULD LEARN TO ADJUST THIER CARS SO WHEN THEY MOVE UP IN CLASSES THEY ALREADY HAVE JUMP ON THE LEARNING CURVE.
4. THE RULES THAT HAVE BEEN POSTED ARE THE RULES FOR 2010-2012. UNLESS SOMETHING IS JUST BEATING THE OTHER COMPETITION REALLY BAD NO RULES SHOULD BE ALTERED.
THE NEW OPENWHEEL MODIFIED CLASS WILL BE THE ONLY CLASSES THAT MIGHT GET ALTERED AT ALL DUE TO BEING NEW AND COMBINING UMP AND IMCA.

WHEN I TOOK OVER THE SPEEDWAY WE PAYED THE ENTIRE FEILD THAT STARTED MAIN RACE UNLESS BLACK FLAGGED. IF YOU WASNT THERE WHEN I PAYED OUT I'M SORRY YOU DIDNT GET PAYED, AS FAR AS CRAZY GETTING PAID FOR LAST IT HAPPENED IF HE STARTED.

I WALKED AROUND AND PAYED EVERYBODY THAT STARTED MAIN RACE THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS RUNNING THE RACE TRACK, NOBODY ELSE DID THIS YOU DONT HAVE TO LOOK FOR YOUR MONEY BECAUSE EVERYBODY KNEW I DID THIS IF THE 10 AND 17 DID NOT START THE MAIN RACE THEY DID NOT GET PAID, IF THEY LEFT BEFORE I WALKED AROUND THEY DID NOT GET PAID . THE REASON BEHIND THE WEIGHT IS I DIDNT FEEL ON OUR TRACK THE CRATE HAD ENOUGH ADVANTAGE TO KEEP UP WITH HIGH POWERED LIMITED CARS BECAUSE OF LENGTH.
PLUS THESE TYPES OF CARS DONT GET GOOD PERCENTAGES AT 2200 POUNDS, HARDLY ANY REAR WEIGHT.

the 10 17 9 all come together and all suck . in the way all night long.get lapped at least 2 or three times a night and wreck anybody thats around them why should their opinion even bother you wren the more this guy chats the more he looks stupid, he and his buds have never finished a race on lead lap be amazing to see them finsish hot laps

I agree with mini stock.... I raced at LRS every weekend and last year which was my first year racing. when Wren took over and changed the tires rules in the street class me and several others didnt like it and complained about it... but after a few races i began to like it more because its was more of a challenge to drive on the little street tires and i got to beat people who i would of never beat on the big tires.. but as far as people puttin down wren they need to know what they are talkin about and his ententions before they judge what he is doin.. he never said he was changin the pay he asked for votes on here to have an idea from us as drivers what we would like... wren and his dad has also came to me after a race than told me stuff to try with my car to help it handle better and different driving techniques which help me alot..so wren just keep doin what your doin and the track will be a sucess... see you practice day
