Last knight after the full racing program at ft. payne motor speedway, marvin ford gathered up all the a- hobby drivers in front of the bleachers and proceeded to tell us that he was not going to pay any of us. he insisted that we were all illegal. all nine drivers had been disquallified by mr. Ford. After about 30 min. of a very heated discussion from all the drivers mr. ford told us to leave , we was not getting any money!!!! Does anyone think this is right?

from what i heard all of the a-hobby cars were on the wrong rear suspension. and the only car that had the right suspension was on soft tires so if this is true then YES MR. FORD KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND MAKE THEM GET RIGHT AND YOU WILL BE JUST FINE.

I dont know about u 27 but almost all those car are prob illegal.I am a long time dirt track fan i go regular to Ft. Payne and in A hobby no competion always same winner and cars set up for sportsman some with limited motor and some drivers are ex late model and sportsman who could'nt make it so drop down so they should name that class sportman reject class. I think marvin does fine he just want car count up but he should have tech car before end season.

If all the cars had the same part then no one had a advantage over another. Waiting until the last race to catch all the cars running the same thing shows that they were never checked to begin with. Any time a car comes to the track for the first time it should be checked to ensure that it meets the rules of the class they intend to run and to also ensure that it meets all safety rules. Someone wasnt doing their job since these cars had been running there all season. Either that or the track didnt care because they were worried about car count.
Let someone get hurt because a car is unsafe and see how fast the insurance co will drop the track and refuse to pay any claims because they didnt check the car for safety before it ever went on the track. Used to be that before ever race there you had to cross the scales and get a sticker to show that you had been checked. No sticker you didnt get paid! If they had done this then they would have caught every one of these cars the first time they showed up at the track.

I totally agree with you that all cars should be checked first time there.
