PLease pray for Russell Smith's family. He passes away today from injuries sustand in a one car accedent. He is the brother of Mark Smith (Drove the #57 hobby at West Ga Speedway) (Marks wife Lori is the one who use to work the entrance gate on the pit side) and son of Martis and Christine Smith. RUSSELL use to race the red #8 at Fast Lane raceway. Saturday night he was coming home from seeing his girlfrined and apently went to sleep and hit a tree. He was pined in his truck and it burst into flames, most of his body was burnt and he was put on life support (but was pronounced brain dead) and was removed from it today. He lived for about an hour and then he passed away. RUSSELL BUDDY YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED! I AS WELL AS OTHERS WILL MISS YOUR HUGS!!! It would never fail no mater where you seen him he would hug you.

This was one of the sweetest guys! No matter where you saw him or met him! He always brought you up , if you felt bad or was having the worst day of your life he brought you higher than any drug could! He always gave me hugs and smiled! Russell you are missed and I love you so much!I told pop at the funeral home GOD has something real speacial for this young man to do ! He must have needed someone to raise the SUN for a while, or to paint the rainbows after the rain hes letting us get! I pray for Martis and Christine, its gonna be so sad for themand the holidays are coming its gonna be some long ones!, but they say hes better off because he was so burned, his pop said I hope he didn't suffer but they told me he was real bad! But that smile will be there in heaven and be perfect again!! God bless all!
