I like it. In case of rainy weather, it gives you two shots at going racing in a weekend. As far as putting people in the stands, you gotta put SLM's on the track. JMO!

In other areas in the country there are races on Sundays, Wednesday and Thursdays as well. Huntsville has always been a Friday night show for as long as I can remember. In 2007 we went there every Friday they had The Open Wheel class. I think it is great that we have a Friday night show to go to Locally. We still have several Local Sat night Tracks we can attend as well. I have Driven to Hattiesburg MS to race on Friday nights and many times to Mobile on Friday nights to race. Then be at TST for their Sat night event. I will be at GVS every Friday night and will compete at TST when we have enough money to keep it going. Good job Dennis working with TST -- I'm Lovin' it

JMO dirtracer11j. However, go to any track you want and after the SLM run, see how many people get up and leave. We were at TST last year for the OSAS race weekend and when the LM's finished, you would have thought someone called in a bomb scare. No disrespect to any class. It takes them all to make a show. I just know what I see every weekend. Thanks and good luck to all in 09.

well my two cents worth on good ideas would be to keep the old scedule and do three car shows at the mall in gadsden and give points for doing so and have it roped off where everyone who comes in to view the cars gets to bring a friend for free at the track, we done this this past year in alexandria for gv but didnt have a good car count to turn out and it was in a small area, also stick to your guns on the rules(this is what destroyed the previous owner) the rule change in hobby this year will cost about $1500.00 and people cant afford that every year!! also i would havbe called all of my drivers together for a drivers discussion on what do to to fix the issue of getting folks in the stands and went from there maybe if we all put our heads together we could have came up with some great ideas such as gregg noah!!(that was an awesome idea and with some more help from drivers it could be amazing at what could happen)
