I agree with the other post should have not called the races at Fort payne & Talladega short track,I am in question that it was Nesmith. In my opinion they have made a lot of instant changes through out the year. The series isn't what it's cracked up to be.Nesmith need to rethink the series and go back. what ever happened to buying a sealed crate engine from the factory and leaving it sealed except maintenance? They change there rules as they go this year having engines ruled illegal then legal, & revising the rules and dont see a revised set in the rules as suppose to be added for everyone to see. adding car count that wasn't there & having a lot of double point races. Dont know what is behind all that. As a fans opinion the crates was a fantastic class to go see and all were equal in engine,it was then based on how the driver drove and set up on the cars not any more. I dont understand if the drivers wanted to get more horsepower and run faster move up to another class and leave well enough alone. From what I hear The Nesmith Series a lot of people aren't liking it anymore. What about the 3 Nesmith Nationals Still have time to race Them Dates are open on October 10 and 11. Just a race fans opinion and probally a lot others. There is no gas shortage and its not like gas hasn't been 399 this year at all

Well said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their car count is down, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY down. For gas to be so high its mighty funny to me that Greenvalley had a good turn out. And there wasnt alot of the Mountain boys there. Oh wait there is not mountain people, they have already went else where!!!!! IMAGINE THAT

Yes I agree things are not too good at FPMS and that was probably the reason, but TST has been doing real well and thats why I think something kind of smelled with the cancellation. Remember when talking about NeSmith and FPMS they are two in the same basically (one partner of FPMS founded NeSmith). I'm not bashing FPMS just stating the truth. I went up there a few weeks back and the track was in good shape, the show over early but just no cars (41 total for all divisions). You can read my post in the TST forum under "no cars" about TST situation. I think its a shame that they did cancel because the crates would of had a huge weekend. TST for $2500 and then FPMS for $2500 and they even could of went to GVS on Friday for $1500. Thats $6500 that would of drawn a ton of cars which was evident by the 38 that showed up at GVS.
