ICEBOWL 2009 DATES AND DETAILS ANNOUNCED
Eastaboga, AL (September 11, 2008) – Talladega Short Track officials announced today the dates and details regarding the 2009 traditional race coming up January 2009.
Sticking with the same weekend as in the past, the famed event will kick off on New Years Day as the running of the event will take place from January 1st – 4th.
A Wednesday Night New Years Eve Party is in the works, making Icebowl XVIII an exciting event you wont want to miss.
Bobby Mayse etched his name into the Icebowl record books as he hoisted the coveted Icebowl trophy in Icebowl XVII.
No major changes are in store at this time for the event, as the Super Late Models will headline the card featuring a fifty-lap feature paying $6,000 to win.
Crate Late Models will be vying for a $3,000 top prize with the Limited Latemodel/Sportsman division running for $2,000 to win. IMCA Modifieds will be vying for a top prize of $1,500 and the Bomber cars will run for $700 to win.
