would some one let me know How you can give double points for a car field of 15 cars when they were only 8 car that showed up to race.there were drivers that got double points on their finish based on 15 cars when they should have got points based on a 8 car field, that makes a big difference when I thought they base points on how many cars was there to race, not on how many was there a week ago. I dont have any issues with the drivers and not with double points but give the drivers what is right. They have been a lotof rain out at different tracks and they did not go back and give points for the amount of cars that was there before they give points on what was there at that time of race. Could someone enlighten me?

You’re exactly right, the series awards points on a step system for car counts 10 and under, and car counts over 14. Let’s use Blake for an example. On the double points night, which he won, if Marvin claims 14 or greater cars that night Blake would receive 100 points. If Marvin claims the actual number of cars there, which was 8, Blake would receive 80 points. Twenty points would be huge since they only count 16 races. I’m sure some of you internet savvy folks can find out if Blake’s points jumped 80 or 100 points that week. If it was 100 you might want to notify some the other drivers so they can point it out to the series.

if that were the case Blakes points wouldnt jump by that many points. They would only jump the differnce between the points he received for the win and the points of the races he "threw away" by replacing them with the wins. So in reality he wouldnt have gained 80 or 100 points. Probably more in the neighborhood of 10-20 if even that many.
Regardless someone from Nesmith should address these concerns before this gets out of hand. Getting the correct info is the only way to stop the rumors.

You are right ,someone from nessmith needs to explain, and talking about blake he should have 750 points instead of 770 and 22 races instead of 21 as of aug 16. That might not be a lot to some people but for the drivers that are running for points, it's a big thing.we are talking about getting point for cars that wasnt at the track racing

I find it funny that someone from either Nesmith or the race track found the time to come on here and talk good about their track and bad about another track and promoter, but they dont have either the time or consideration to explain their actions or reasons concerning this issue. Blake is a really nice guy and a awesome driver but they are making him look bad because he is benefiting from this.
