did they tell you your body was not legal? nothing in rules about aluminum body panels just weight break for stock body. just wondering what was wrong with yours it sure looks good!

What I have gathered is that they said it was his body. They have changed the rules for the class and luckily my car is still legal because I have not done all the things I had planned on doing to my car. Only the cars with completly stock bodies are allowed to run so Jay, Sam Hughes, Ricky Cain are all now illegal and the only ones I can think of that come are Myself(cody browning), the 64 car and the 16 oh and Matt Nichols in the 4 car. I think it is crap but that is the way they want it so I will leave my car as it is until next year and I guess run at Dega.

the rules state that you can run an aftermarket body but have to add weight {as if they had a way to check it} so unless they changed the rule book mid-season i dont understand why you would run some one off like that

now the only cars legal to run thunder now are you, me in the 4 car, tommy payton in the silver 14, mike in the 16, and the 64 car. they have eliminated the tube frame and aftermarket body cars. and if anyone else shows up that would conform to the new specs. I probably wont be in the class much longer myself because I am POSSIBLY stepping up to IMCA next season.

Matt are you racing at Dega or wilsonville this week?? I am coming and am sure the 16 will be there and not sure of the 64 car.

well, it'll be at least 3 of us then....'cause I am gonna be finishing the year out there, and make a run for the division championship
