I have a limited motor that has just been freshened by Lynn Smith. No races on it since refresh. Machine work done by Rickeys Machine in Talladega. (Rickey Cooper) This was Originally a Vinson motor I bought from Rickey & Dallas Cooper when they had 8 races on it ,with 3 of those being wins. I ran it 16 more races in the 2006 season ,leading several races with 13 top 10's and 7 top 5's ( 5 of those being 2nd place to Dallas Cooper or Hiett). Freshened before 07 season - put 29 races on it last year. Now its fresh again . This Motor will turn 7800 all nite long with no problems. This is a short description of what the motor is ,
350 -4 bolt main Fresh Maincaps-linebored .037 bore 010 block ,eagle 4340 47 lb shaft ,6" Eagle 4340 I-beam rods 7/16 bolts,crower solid lift cam,.250 billet chain &gear set, custom wiseco pro lite .037 pistons . Bowtie heads with 6000 series Ferrea valves 2.05 - 1.60,New COMP CAMS Springs,locks, and retainers. New 1.5 - 1.6 rockers, stud girdles, Aluminum Valve covers, Bowtie intake . This is not the lightest stuff available , but has proven very dependable.
