July 16, 2007-- Congratulations to this weekends winners. View the results page for a complete rundown on who finished where. Coming up this Friday night will be the first leg of a great double header weekend with East Alabama Motor Speedway, with the StormPay.com Crate Late Model, National tour coming to visite Penton Raceway for a 40 lap $2,500 to win main event. The StormPay.com crate late models offer some great affordable racing with the GM sealed crate engine program. The National Tour will bring some great racers, like Derrek Rainey, David Gentry, and many many others, to do battle with local standouts Chad Wallace, Marc Gooden, Jimmy Elkins, and the man with the hot hand recently, Richard Stephens. Also Scott Knowles, Dana Eiland, & Anthony Meadows will be fighting for the bragging rights as well. All crate late model competitors will use the outside pits this weekend. Penton will also have racing in the Super Street, Hobby, and Bandit Divisions this weekend for Double Points, and will utilize the inside pits for these divisions. Out of town competitors needing a hotel room for the night, the Holiday Inn of Opelika, Alabama is offering a special rate for $50 a night this weekend, just ask for the StormPay/Penton rate, for reservation call (334) 745-6331.
