Jeremy Grady Goes Back-to-Back at Des Moines!
(STORY CITY, IOWA) The Jeremy Grady Racing team reached victory lane at the
Iowa State Fair Speedway in Des Moines, Iowa for the second straight
weekend, as they took the checkers last Friday night, May 4! After an
uneventful third place run in his heat race, Jeremy Grady turned up the wick
in the feature event. The Story City, Iowa driver drew the outside pole
position for the 18-lap A-Main and got off to a fast start. Despite several
caution periods, Jeremy was able to hold the lead and reach victory lane for
the second time in the 2007 racing season!
It was off to the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa on Saturday
evening, May 5 for another regular show. The "Story City Outlaw" finished
fourth in his heat race and made the redraw. However, he drew the worst
pill possible and rolled off from the outside of the sixth row for the
A-Main. Jeremy was able to pass four cars during the 25-lap feature event
en route to a solid eighth place performance.
Earlier in the week, the #43 team was in action at the Independence Motor
Speedway in Independence, Iowa for a $2,000 to win 'Indee Open' show on
Wednesday, May 2. Jeremy ran fifth in his heat race to garner the
fourteenth starting spot for the feature event. He was very impressive
during the course of the 'Indee Open' main event, as he got by eight cars on
his way to a sixth place effort.
The Jeremy Grady Racing team will enter two more local shows this upcoming
weekend. Jeremy and his #43 team will compete once again at the Iowa State
Fair Speedway on Friday, May 11, while they will invade the Hamilton County
(IA) Speedway on Saturday evening, May 12. You can view their entire
