GRT Race Cars Welcomes Garrett Racing!
(GREENBRIER, ARKANSAS) GRT Race Cars would like to welcome the Garrett
Racing team to Team GRT for the rest of the 2007 racing season! Garrett
Racing, which is based out of Simsboro, Louisiana, is a two-car Dirt Late
Model operation and fields cars for both veteran Wendell Wallace and
upcoming sensation Garrett Durrett. Wendell is a former GRT "House Car"
pilot and has driven GRT racecars throughout the course of his illustrious
career.
The driver known throughout the Dirt Late Model community as the "Batesville
Bullet" is excited to be back home with GRT Race Cars. "Joe (Garrison)
builds a great racecar and I have had a lot of success in his cars
throughout my career," commented the former Show-Me 100, Dirt Track World
Championship, Topless 100, and Dixie Shootout winner recently. "The cars I
drove earlier in the season just didn't fit my driving style and I didn't
know which adjustments to make and when to make them. But with the GRT
cars, we will have a much better handle on the setup of the cars and I look
for our whole program to benefit from the chassis switch."
Not only is the Garrett Racing team pleased about making the switch to GRT
Race Cars, but so is the owner of GRT, Joe Garrison. "I am very happy to
have Wendell back in one of our cars, along with Garrett," quoted Garrison
earlier today. "Everyone knows how good Wendell is in our car, but I think
Garrett has a lot of potential as well. Hopefully, we can help elevate
their program to where it needs to be and get both Wendell and Garrett in
victory lane again very soon!"
GRT Race Cars, Inc. builds top quality Dirt Late Model chassis and Open
Wheel Modified chassis for racers across the country. They also stock a
large amount of racing related products and parts. GRT Race Cars has been
the chassis of choice for drivers that have captured such Dirt Late Model
