Just curious as to how you go about obtaining sponsorship for your race team? Is it normally from people you know- or do you actually go out and market? I am trying to secure some sponsorship (I need help badly) but don't really know how to go about it with the most effective results. Thank you

Making a great first impression and having a good reputation makes all the difference in the world. Remember that people will associate you with who you hang around with. If you know people local to your area then that would be a start. Just ask if they are interested in a tax write-off and go from there. Sponsorship usually comes from people who depend on the end user of a product or service that they provide. Good luck and remember that it is always Ok to ask. Just make sure that you can sell them. You will do Ok.
