Well I guess Senoia will remain asphalt. The below is a press release. Only thing new is they will be running mini stocks!
Senoia Speedway will be open for racing in 2006. The 3/8 mile asphalt track will have its first practice on May 6th at 1pm. This will be followed up with a second practice on May 13th at 1pm. In addition to all the racing classes from last year, Senoia will be welcoming the Stock Minis to this years lineup.
Racing action gets underway on May 20th. Gates open at 5pm and the green flag waves at 7pm. The grandstand price is expected to be about $10.
I'm also hearing that the Georgia Asphalt Series may be back at Senoia this year. With the recent closure of Montgomery Motor Speedway, look for Senoia to possibly fill the July 8th and October 7th dates.
