I saw on AOL news this morning that a super late model at Mt. Vernon Raceway in southern Illinois got air bourne during qualifying landing 23 rows up into the stands killing two and injuring six. The stands were only 25 rows from bottom to top. Driver said his throttle stuck , he was not injured badly.

Yes this is truely terrible. I posted on this last night. It makes you think alot about safety in the race cars and safety in the stands and at the track. Could you post any info or the track website?
