I don't think the superstreets will be able to run hobby at the bash. Hobbys can run the 602 with a weight break, but it says you cannot run any aluminum bodies. It says aftermarket bodies(five star) must be steel, I believe.

YES OPEN WHEELS- GO KART TRACK- DEMOLITION DERBY- MONSTER TRUCK SHOW- TRANSAURASS- SPRINT CARS ARE ALL HAPPENING IN 2008
Please read the website as it is the only OFFICIAL INFORMATIONAL SOURCE FOR GREEN VALLEY SPEEDWAY & THE BAMA BASH printed, verbal, opinions or otherwise.
I sincerely wish that "Dennis" wasn't always quoted as gospel on this website, as I get words put in my mouth all the time that I don't say. If you want to know the truth call me 312-2748, you will always get to the bottom of the matter instead of all the d**n gossip that I have to deal with every day!
Thanks Dennis

And Dennis posted: "We are not cutting out any class at Green Valley in 2008 , we simply will alternate weeks off and give the drivers a break. Getting the show done on time is the most important to the majority of people I have talked too!
The inside walls are down and all the improvements promised at GVS are in the process of happening. We will start working on relocating the lights this morning.
Thanks GVS"
Now looking at the schedule I think I see a potential communication problem. Maybe it's just me.

let me start by saying this is not intended to bash dennis or gv in anyway i think he is a great guy with alot on his plate but i do intend this as a question only that im having trouble with, when the track was reopened i heard from dennis he was gonna put the money toward his local drivers! 1st of all in the b=hobby class at the "survivor" series 3 link cars with crate motors and a weight break and aftermarket bodies came and competed against "stock" cars then one car who refused tech after the series still got paid for the first win when our car run second and we didnt and never will refuse tech automatically my opinion would have been that the driver who refused tech shouldnt have gotten paid for any feature that night ! MY SOLUTION... is this race season only cars that are seasonal cars and legal to season rules run in this race so the money is put back to your locals as they are the ones who support the track week in and week out, as for the BAMA BASH i say the rules still doesnt favor your locals MY SOLUTION:i think cars with the crate motors should add 100lb in front of the bellhousing and cars with pull bars add 200 lb in front of the bellhousing to where your locals always have the advantage i do however understand that this year would be to short to change the rules for the bash but this is something to think about for the future....look forward to a great season in the hobby class and to have some fun
