CLANTON.................
No Crate-No Race.
Looks like the crate cars are going elsewhere.
As a matter of fact ---- it looks like all divisions
are going somewhere else.... ;D
Trying to get a track started back up is hard.
Telling cars not to come when who knows how
many Sportsman division cars could have made
CLANTON their track is really bad business. You
should let all come....then which ever division has
the lowest count....tell them: WE DON'T WANT YOU.
Don't know if it is true or not---but was told less than
10 cars TOTAL were in the pits Saturday night. If total
different...Put the results on here and let me know that
I am totally wrong.
Call is sour grapes if you like but nobody likes to be
told that they are not wanted before the division is
even given a chance...(especially at a dog gone track
that is trying to open back up)!!!!!!!!!
Sure you will say---well Lakeside (Shelby County Speedway)
only runs crates.....yes that is right....but it was after years
of running sportsman and the field dwindled down....crates
started showing up and they went with them.
Maybe we should build a thunder car again. Now that
would be fun. Love that division. Then maybe we would
be wanted at CLANTON....if they are still open. ;D
