Are they running the pure ponies at the BAMA BASH this year and if they do what all can you run in the bottom half?  ? |

got to run stock bottom end with stock head and a 350 carb.

Well you pretty much know that most every pure pony will not have stock bottom ends!!!!!!

yea i know. theres alot of them not runnin stock bottom ends they just to cheat i quess.

They should at least let us do a little bit to the bottom end so we can actually run up front to have a chance to win!!!!!

Well thats not really tha problem im just trying to find out if they will lets us do at least a little bit to the motor to run!!! I mean as long as they run the stock head I think that it should be able to do stuff to the bottom half.

you can have clearances set in the bearings so the bottom end will last longer but it has to be stock robs and pistons. the power in these motors come from the head anyway.

Yeah i figure there will be some good stock pony and outlaw cars down there!!! So what all do they check in the pure if you win or what and they just check the top three dont they???

the top 3 cars have to cross the scales in every race. what he checks changes from week to week
from your questions it makes me wonder if your car is legal........... better to leave people quessing instead of giving to much information
